The Trust is looking for an outstanding Trust Business Manager who can deliver high quality financial and administrative expertise to some of our schools in South Leicestershire. The successful candidate will work in a flexible, innovative team supporting Head Teachers and the Trust Leadership Team.
Learn Academies Trust is a growing Multi Academy Trust based in Market Harborough and currently comprises 10 primary schools.
We require a team player with a keen sense of moral purpose and integrity, the post holder will be helping to secure a thriving future for Learn-AT academies, in which all pupils and staff can flourish.
The main responsibilities of the role will be as follows:
- To work with a number of schools as their Business Manager taking initiative and responsibility for the strategic and day to day operational needs of the schools
- Ensure robust budgetary control arrangements are in place at schools including the monitoring of income and expenditure and initiating corrective action where appropriate
- Support the Heads, Director of Finance and Operations and Local Governing Bodies in the preparation of budgets and regular forecasts in line with School Development Plans
- To work closely with the Director of Finance and Operations to improve the efficiency of financial and administrative systems and procedures and ensure compliance with Trust Policies
